Vampires
Vampires are created by exchanging blood. It takes more than one exchange to make a vampire, it takes at least 3 carefully planned blood exchanges. Most vampires are teenagers, changing a person over 20 is more difficult. They might not survive the change, only some do and get to live as vampires.
Vampires stop growing older when the change is complete, if you are young girl when changed, you will remain a young girl for the rest of your life. Vampires can't have children. Wood is vunerable to vampires and could kill one. If you stake one, they will die, except if their a dark angel. To stake a vampire is to take a piece of wood and and stab them in the heart with it. Buring also kills vampires.
Vampires look different when feeding, they fangs grow and the eyes be come a liquid silver color. The fangs touch the bottom of the lips. Vampires look like human when not feeding. Made dark angels have fangs and most of their eye colors are purple, their eyes don't change when they feed.
I mentioned something about dark angels earlier, because dark angels are part vampires by the way they are made. They are changed by a vampire, by exchanging blood. Dark angels don't die from being staked and don't have to feed to survive. They just don't have to use their powers in exchange for no feeding, their pretty much human then.

Angels
Angels are concidered non-humans. Angels can use light magic, but made dark angels can use both types magic.
To become an angel you are either are blessed at birth because they see potenial in you and they protect you, or you can be saved by one and become an angel at that moment. Blessed angel's magic is more powerful than created angels magic.
Angels are somewhat immortal, they can't die from most things humans die from. To kill an angel you need the light blade, a blade with a spell placed on it to kill an angel.
Dark Angels
There are two types of angels, made and born. It's rare for a dark angel to be born, so angels are typically made. A little bit of dark angels is described in the vampire section, made dark angels are part vampire because the way they are made.
A made dark angel is created when an angel exchanges blood with a vampire. Angel blood is like human blood, except magic flows through the blood also. It takes only one or two blood exchanges to create a vampire, the angel blood isn't as thick as human blood so it doesn't take as many exchanges. Made are typically more powerful than born, because made dark angels know dark and light magic.
Made dark angels don't need to feed, but can't use vampire powers. They can still use dark magic though.
The dark blade is poison to a dark angels, a blade with a spell placed on it to kill dark angels. Staking a vampire will ignite a war and the dark blade will kill them.
As I mentioned before made dark angels don't necessarily die from being staked, but it does start a battle between the two magics. If the dark magic wins the battle, the dark angel will lose the ability to do light magic. If the light magic win, the dark angel dies because a dark angel needs dark magic to live.
